Den tidligere amerikanske presidenten Barack Obama og hans kone Michelle Obama har inngått en større avtale med Netflix om produksjon av serier og filmer for streaming-tjenesten.
Obama-ekteparet skal produsere diverse innhold, med blant annet potensiale for dokumentarer, reality-programmer og dramaserier. Disse prosjektene vil ble tilgjengelig for 125 millioner Netflix kunder over hele verden. Obama har etablert selskapet Higher Ground Productions som enheten som skal produsere innhold for Netflix.
